Fukio Quartet was founded back in 2008. The ensemble was shaped amidst its instruction at two of the best conservatories in Europe, such as HfMT Köln and the Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique et de Danse in Paris.

Although the start couldn't seem brighter, Fukio quickly surprised the music world with a stellar success in major music competitions, achieving first prizes at the Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy Hochschulwettbewerbes für Neue Musik and Karlsruher Wettbewerb für die Interpretation Neue Musik.
